Equestria Softworks has been a dedicated team of ambitious developers for over a year now. Taking Fallout Equestria by Kkat and turning it into an immersive experience for you. This requires a unique diversity of converging skills that results in a significant amount of upkeep and dedication. We have a team of over hundred members working behind the scenes to bring Fallout Equestria to a gamified medium. However, there was a clear disconnection between the community and our team.
As Equestria Softworks began to mature and grow, so did its team. Some for the better, others for the worse. Our progress is only as streamlined as its members, a permeable mesh from concept to product.
As of today, we are dissolving our name, Equestria Softworks, to become The Overmare Studios. Please visit the new domain and not this one. Only a few members will not be joining us in this transition, one of them being the founder and owner of Equestria Softworks. The move is required for the better sustainability of this project, its members, and the community.
Rest assured, this does not mean development will halt, or even be slowed. Quite to the contrary, this move is in the best interest of the team, the fandom, and the expedition of the development process to provide a finished product to both. It ultimately frees us from one person having total control of the situation and the development process. This moves it towards a more organized and collaborative environment.
One step we have taken to furthering this project is switching engines. Fallout Equestria is no longer a mod of Fallout 3, but a stand-alone title that has been redesigned from the ground up to better fit the story.
We sincerely hope that you will allow us the opportunity to continue working on this project under a new entity. Our original goal and ambitions have remained unwavered. The new strides we have taken both as a team and as developers are moving us and our game onwards. We hope to see you on the new site and look forward to showing you what we have been working on.
